    Pros

There's a lot to say that was positive about Reliance Home Comfort. Some of them include:

    - great people
    - excellent benefits
    - very flexible with private life

    Cons

The only real negative comes from the customers of Reliance Home Comfort. Unfortunately, in any customer service oriented industry, the majority of the calls are of the negative nature. It was always nice to hear a positive comment from customers, which was few and far between.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work.

I have been working at Reliance Home Comfort full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I think there are very few pros of working here. One of them would be the occasional free food and clean work environment. Also, there are coffee and tea available at all times.

    Cons

I think one of the main cons is that there are cliques! The cliques are all formed by Chinese background people and they exclude other people out. They don't make other people feel welcomed at all. Also, they talk bad about their coworkers behind their backs, undermine other peoples' work, act like they do the job best, and in general pass snarky comments and bud into other peoples' business. It's not a pleasant environment to work in. Also, they are just plain rude!

I do think the company doesn't necessarily value its employees. You feel very replaceable when you're here.

    Advice to Management

I think management should take into consideration that employees need to feel valued. Also, supervisors and managers that are of Asian background need to get off their high horse and just learn to treat people with respect. That's not too much to ask for from another human.

I have been working at Reliance Home Comfort full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Reliance has a collaborative and team oriented culture. The people who work in the company are approachable and passionate about their work. There are many opportunities to get involved at Reliance and give back to the community. As an LDP, the mentorship program has allowed me to expand my network and establish a relationship with someone who is more senior in the company. My manager provides me with constant support and helps me towards my professional goals. The Leadership Development program has given me the opportunity to experiment with different job functions as well as get exposure to senior management. Overall, Reliance has a great corporate culture!

    Cons

Construction in the area makes for a slow commute.
