I have been working at Reliance Home Comfort full-time

    Pros

The team is overall very helpful and supportive on both the trades workers and management staff. They want you to excel in any facet. I started in warehouse and was quickly offered to move up in positions. They want you to obtain new licenses and trade tickets as they see you as an investment. Not only do they help you in achieving future goals but they also help you pay for it. The staff are excellent and it is a great company to work for

    Cons

Can be overwhelming at times as it is a fast paced job in all positions.

    Advice to Management

    More hands on training

I have been working at Reliance Home Comfort full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have seen a recent review that irritated me and I had to speak my mind. Many of our team watch the different reviews like Glassdoor, Google, BBB and saw the review that came in bashing the company we love to work for. If you do your job Reliance is one of the best places to work! It seems that people leave the company and forget about the thousands of dollars of tools and vehicles we get to use. I have worked for other HVAC companies that had me use my own tools, damage them, and replace them myself. Reliance equips the techs with all the tools and a vehicle (that you don't share with other people!).
Benefits are also very good. A lot fo other companies don't even offer benefits.
We have people asking to work for us all the time because its such a good place to be.
The people who complain and try and bring others down are the ones that are not doing the job. They act like its their own business on wheels. If you work for Reliance and do your job properly you never have to worry.
I am very proud to be a Reliance employee

    Cons

Its HVAC. The seasons effect our business. The summer and winter can cause very busy times - but that also means more money!
The biggest con is that lots of our team try to bring others down because they want to fight the system or go against the business because they don't like change. The company isn't going to be the same as it was in the 90s. That's why Reliance is growing so much. If these people would realize that the reason we have to do what we do is to make sure there is future business and job security maybe they would just do it.
