    Pros

    If you love actuarial science, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is relaxed but still serious when needed.

    Cons

    No db pension plan. Pay is decent could be better could be worse. If you do your actuarial exams it is totally worth it.

    Pros

    People are all very open and will share knowledge and experience with you. It's a great environment to learn from all levels within the organization. RGA is very focused on the development of its employees.

    Cons

    In the Toronto office it can be difficult to move up in your career since the office is small and majority of departments reports into the St. Louis headquarters.

    Encourage people to speak and take actions to improve working environment. Stop punishing those who dare speaking their mind.

    Pros

    Treat staff very well. Good benefits and company appreciation parties. International company with room for growth, especially on the actuarial side.

    Cons

    If you're not passionate about the insurance industry you may not be satisfied with the company. Otherwise it's a pretty solid place.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing and make sure employees are challenged and have the ability to receive feedback.

    Helpful people, amazing environment and very flexible management. not very tensed at all. Great events...

    Very technical people and almost all of them are 30+ so there is no space for young people in the company.

    Pros

    Very positive working atmosphere. Collegues are ready to help you whenever you need it. They encourage creativity and initiatives and working hours are flexible. The company values giving back to its employees with exclusive events and cocktails.

    Cons

    Salaries are somewhat lower than other employer.

    Advice to Management

    Perhaps being more proactive towards giving advices and critics to employees would better help them growing.
