    Pros

same start time daily, nice crews to pour for.

    Cons

Manager, backup batchman, trucks,LOW PAY! not much overtime.Manager is fearful of the world and feels the need to be armed all times, backup batchman is rude and condescending but is best buds with the manager so good luck with anything changing, only pay 20.00 per hour for very experienced ready mix experience, most truck have some kind of problem that needs repair. If you want to be poor and want to be treated poorly then go full out an application.

    Pros

Ready Mixed Concrete Co. has good benefits and pay. They have good incentive bonuses for safety, especially for hourly employees. They provide good training for everyone pertaining to their position.

    Cons

Too much corporate monitoring on daily & monthly decisions. They sometimes ask for reports ASAP without much notice. They also change your plans for the day after the day has begun to take care of something that could have been planned to do; not an emergency situation.

    Pros

Benefits is about the only item that comes to mind. Pay is decent, overtime is even better, but that is of course very short lived in the slower seasons.

    Cons

This company has some of the worst leadership and management I've ever seen. RMCC was purchased by Argos (Central America) and good luck talking to someone at the Corporate level. You will work hard everyday and of course only your screw ups are noticed. One of the most volatile working environments I've ever seen. The "Operations Manager" and "Division Managers" could make it at the local McDonalds, so they are your boss on a daily basis. They are so wonderful that they will write you up for anything.

    Very Bad structure, no leadership

    Pros

    None - nothing good here

    Cons

Excessively long hours (70+ every week). No senior structure or management. Sales guys, division managers constantly talking behind your back. No training, no organization, complete lack of trust in everyone working there. Employees are working 5-6 days a week, lots of disgruntled people. Work open to close, feel sorry for whoever took my position!

    Pros

There are alot of good people there that want to do a good job. Beneifits are pretty good. Management doesn't really bother until there's a real problem ( see cons).

    Cons

People in managment have some serious issues with leading and decision making. Alot of Monday morning quarterbacks and no one wants to take on issues head on. Training is almost non existent. IF you want to know how good a job you do, don't hold your breath for a pat on the back. There is way too much of talking behind one's back.
