Solid company to work for - wouldn't work anywhere else.

      Pros

First off, the silly reviewers that throw around the words MLM and Pyramid scheme should give their head a shake! A Pyramid scheme IS ILLEGAL! Do you honestly think that a company that is PUBLICLY TRADED on the NASDAQ and is licensed in EVERY STATE AND PROVINCE aaaand on the FORTUNE 1000 (google it, glassdoor won't allow me to post web links) will be a PYRAMID SCHEME?!? Primerica is NOT an MLM - it is set up EXACTLY like a real estate brokerage. Have a look at a RE/MAX office and how it's structured. Why not put some extra work into your research before showing your ignorance to the rest of the viewers here? The Pros of Primerica for me is that it saved my marriage. No, really, it did. We were in financial turmoil - long story short: my fault - which caused more than a strain on our relationship. Primerica showed me a better way to first manage my debt and then ultimately eliminate it. They then showed me how to properly invest and save on taxes using properly invested RRSP facilitated by an RRSP loan. We are now debt free and on the way to attaining our Financial Independence number; and side note: our marriage is stronger than ever. I now work full time for Primerica and DON'T have to recruit my family and friends; I ask them to refer me to those that might need help. I teach fundamental money concepts that SHOULD have been taught in school. From there, people understand they need to be properly protected and save for the future, to not be instantly gratified, but to look ahead and have a target. other Pros: - Save people from drowning in debt - Build a business for yourself, but not by yourself (their support system is second to none) - There is no manual labor involved and it's pandemic proof - we are an essential service - All training online, licencing is done online, the BUSINESS itself is now 100% online if you so choose. I could go on, but if you REALLY do proper research, you will see that this is a legitimate business opportunity - the results and coaching may vary depending on which office you work with.

      Cons

      1. You ACTUALLY have to work. This is not like being an employee and punching the clock then waiting for your shift to end. This is running a business - if you don't produce, you don't get paid. Which, btw, will also get your fired from your job. 2. You need to put in not 1 or 2 months. Some have to stick with it for 6-24 months part-time because they need to skill up and learn how to communicate. Just know that everyone can do this and put the work in - but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE will WANT to put the time in. Those that were in this business for less than a year shouldn't say that Primerica didn't work - they should be asking themselves how MUCH they actually worked.

      Positive filled environment

Sep. 21, 2018 - Child Care Supervisor in Fort McMurray, AB

      Business Outlook

      Pros

*Super positive environment, there are many people from all backgrounds, beliefs, ages and stages of their life. *If you decide to explore what it is about simply googling is not going to do it. You need to spend the $128 to take the courses. It teaches you ethics, taxes, insurances etc... It normally would cost you for the same courses in college 1200+. Even if you don't want to be apart of it the education of your own finances is worth it. *Not just anyone one can make it. You need to be dedicated and want it. *It's not a get rich quick scheme you are paid what you are worth. If you don't try or do any work you won't get paid. If you try your hardest and put your all into and are resilient you can make it. *You get paid 8 different ways!!! Not just one way. *You can properly protect the ones you love and care about. *You can control all of your own finances learn and grow as you go. *Self development. It teaches you to be positive appreciate what you have and how to be strong. *You can be part time and there is no risk to your current career *You get to travel to parts of the world you never thought you could afford or even wanted to visit.

      Cons

*How ignorant people get when you ask for help for just training. *You have to work hard!!! *Realizing who your true friends and family are.

      Life on My Terms

Aug. 26, 2018 - Divisional Sales Manager in Hamilton, ON

      Business Outlook

      Pros

I have been part-time in Primerica for almost 6 years. I love that I can work around my kids' school schedule, make good money when I do work and have such a positive impact on the families I work with. Primerica is a company of integrity. with great products and great financial education for families. For everyone wondering if Primerica is a scam, just Google "Primerica Forbes Top 50" and you will see an article by Forbes listing Primerica as one of the Top 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies in North America. I am pretty sure Forbes Magazine would have figured it out if Primerica was a scam.

      Cons

It's not for everyone. You have to be willing to change from an employee to an entrepreneurial mindset. Earning a wage vs earning commissions is a different way of working. I love that Primerica lets you work your own hours part-time, this is perfect for me and I have built a big enough business that I make money every month without having to work too hard at it. When I started I was hungry to change and grow, so that helped me a lot. Working with people and being an entrepreneur required personal development, which you don't always have to do at a wage-earning job. You decide how much you grow, which also decides how much you make. Commission earners are some of the wealthiest people in the world. They are also the hungriest to keep learning and improving. If you are hungrry to grow, then you should take a look at Primerica.

      Great experience

      Oct. 21, 2017 -

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Flexible time - Great part time income $500-1000/mo working 8-10 hours a week - Equal Opportunity for anyone to own and run your own business as a broker. - Great experience to start one's own business - Offer financial products and services that actually help people. Crusading for the injustice of the financial services caused to the middle market families out there. Bringing Wall Street Services (even better) to the Main Street Families. - Must be licensed to help people with the products and services. Offer professional designations such as LLQP (life insurance license) and CSC (Mutual fund license) with essentially low cost

      Cons

      - Commission-based only as a start - Still have some negativity in the Internet so make sure you find credible sources about the company

Primerica helps middle income families with financial planning to retire

Aug. 27, 2018 - Production Supervisor in Brantford, ON

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great people to work with, lots of support from Primerica head office. They pay for all your education! Primerica helps you achieve your dreams, whether they are large 6 figure dreams or just part time income dreams. The only way you don't succeed in Primerica is because you did not try hard enough. Primerica will support you with videos for training, help you help people become financially independent. Nothing is more rewarding then showing people how to retire with enough money to enjoy their retirement. You can make as much money as you want or as little as you want. You can start your own business and watch it grow! The possibilities are only limited to your desire to succeed!

      Cons

There are not downsides. If you don't succeed it wasn't because of Primerica, it was your poor aditiued and unwillingness to learn.

      Pros

      - People are investing in you. The support system in Primerica is 100x better then anywhere else I have worked. Your team will teach you all you need to know to succeed. - You make your own schedule. This was very important to me, as I was working 70 hours a week, and still not making the money I needed to before I started working with Primerica. - You determine your income. You get paid for the work you do. Great part time income, with no quotas. - Outgoing, uplifting environment. - Learn about finances, so you don't get taken advantage of.

      Cons

      - It does take work, anything that is worth it does. I really see this as a pro, if you have a good work ethic it is impossible to fail.

      Pros

Can transition easily from part time to full time while working another job and building a business in the meantime. You're income is based on what you do and the type of team you build. It's unlimited income and you control your time and energy spent. Training and guidance is always available from your upline and teammates. It is truly a unbelievable experience that can change your life if you want it to. No boss and no management. You can be part time or full time and make money on your own investments and feel like you're making a difference in people's lives for the better.

      Cons

It's a lot of work but really worth it and can pay off HUGE!

      Pros

Their manager is persuasive, you may learn a good sale skill from them. You may get the skill to deal with clients. You may get a high compensation, if you have a lot of previous clients or family members.

      Cons

Totally commission based, and they are trying to dig out everything about your family and your close friend, which means the job may corrupt your relationship. Besides, from their annual report, their revenue depends on the number of their sales representatives. Believe it or not, they have more than 90,000 representatives, including part-time and full-time. Their corporate structure is multi-level marketing, a structure closing to pyramid scheme but a legal one.
