      Positive filled environment

Sep. 21, 2018 - Child Care Supervisor in Fort McMurray, AB

      Business Outlook

      Pros

*Super positive environment, there are many people from all backgrounds, beliefs, ages and stages of their life. *If you decide to explore what it is about simply googling is not going to do it. You need to spend the $128 to take the courses. It teaches you ethics, taxes, insurances etc... It normally would cost you for the same courses in college 1200+. Even if you don't want to be apart of it the education of your own finances is worth it. *Not just anyone one can make it. You need to be dedicated and want it. *It's not a get rich quick scheme you are paid what you are worth. If you don't try or do any work you won't get paid. If you try your hardest and put your all into and are resilient you can make it. *You get paid 8 different ways!!! Not just one way. *You can properly protect the ones you love and care about. *You can control all of your own finances learn and grow as you go. *Self development. It teaches you to be positive appreciate what you have and how to be strong. *You can be part time and there is no risk to your current career *You get to travel to parts of the world you never thought you could afford or even wanted to visit.

      Cons

*How ignorant people get when you ask for help for just training. *You have to work hard!!! *Realizing who your true friends and family are.

It works if you work it.

      Pros

Opportunity to make a lot of money. Great support. Positive work environment. Covers majority of costs for licensing and helps you pass exams. It is a lot about becoming a better person and personal gowth. My RVP has created a culture of integrity where we always do what is right for the client. I appreciate that I am not being asked to do anything I think is against my clients best interest in the name of money.

      Cons

Trying to do sales can be tough. It is a matter of talking to a lot of people about what you are doing, and there will be close friends and family that disappoint you when they won't support you.

      Pros

Family, community, enthusiasm, positivity, excellent sales experience.

      Cons

The person they’re selling to is YOU. What they’re selling is a pipe dream of non existent personal revenue. Yes theyll say I’m lying and you can do well. But the truth is you’ll have to prey on your friends and family just to get started and then everyone you meet after that. It’s as sleazy as they come but it’s wrapped in a pretty package.

      Great at motivating.

      Pros

Great support and training from the RVP.

      Cons

Training for lead generation focusses mostly on family, then most reps leave the company as they have exhausted (and frustrated) their family and friends.

      This is A Scam

      Pros

You can get your insurance license and learn some valuable things. But you are stuck with working with Primerica. People were friendly at the start.

      Cons

They milk money out of you through these constant cult type meetings and events where you hear the same story over and over again how Primerica saved their life. they flaunt money and bad mouth their relatives and exes. they put people down due to their financial status claiming you can be like them (morally bankrupt due to their financial worth) They recruit through lies and deception and then want the names of all your friends and family. Troll through your social media accounts to find more recruits or clients. It slowly becomes harassment. I would go to meetings where the leader would yell at you the whole entire time, demanding new people come to the meeting so he can make more money. You make money the same way a pyramid scheme does. When you make a sale the person who signed you up to get's a cut and the person who signed them up gets a cut and up the ladder, it goes. It's a scam.

Be aware, it's an MLM, or pyramid scheme

Oct. 27, 2017 - Sales Representative in Toronto, ON

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Just the training for life insurance and those things you learn

      Cons

Everything with this kind of business is wrong. It's a pyramid scheme, so it would eventually collapse. It's not ethical, cause it's a pyramid structure and people don't know it, they may involve with the company and don't get the results they've thought of. And most importantly, it would destroy your relationships... Are you willing to use your friends and family as a business opportunity to gain money, then they would conclude that you're a materialist who just want them for their money!

Difficulty attaining a living wage due to the comission structure of the job.

      Cons

Difficult to reach goals, generate income. You are expected to turn your friends and family onto Primerica and make your commission that way.
