I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Primerica is an amazing company with great education and offers tons of value for consumers

    Cons

You have to be willing to work, this is not a rich quick scheme, many people think they can be rich without working, that's unfortunately what many people are looking for today, instant gratification

I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Where else can the average person find the opportunity to build an massive, passive income-producing legacy, for such a low cost?
People from all walks of life truly have the chance to live the American Dream.

Primerica truly pushes people to be the best version of themselves.
Probably the toughest line of work, outside of parenthood, but totally worth it.

There is absolute NO discrimination on any level.
    Positive, results-oriented work environment.

EVERYONE has the opportunity to BE SOMEBODY.
You just have to work for it... and DON'T QUIT!

    Cons

New recruits may often be under-informed on our business model and ideology, and therefore are left unprotected from rival companies, especially those more well-versed.

Primerica is for everyone, but not everyone may be for Primerica.
There may be a significant shift in mindset required to really find long-term success in Primerica.

I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company truly gives the average Joe/Jane a shot at an incredible life.
Where else can you find the opportunity to build a multi million dollar business, with an unlimited amount of readily available resources to do it, at such a low cost?
Great way to replace income from a job, while still having freedom of time and money.

What most people pay $1000s for can be obtained here so easily. (self-improvement material, financial analyses & consults, high-level financial products)

This company was built on the attitude of gratitude, and every Primerica office is expected to have a 100% positive environment. (Home office is actually very, VERY strict on this matter)

The Home Office staff are always supportive & on the front lines willing to fight for the salesforce to get things done because the salesforce fights for the client, and the client is ALWAYS the #1 priority.

You can build an income here that will pay you & carry forward FOREVER, even long after you stop working.

    Cons

A Primerica agent's ability to recruit and create distribution, while absolutely an amazing privilege, can also be taken advantage of by a representative who's looking to take shortcuts for recognition... One thing to be aware of when being prospected.

I have been working at Primerica part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Positive, caring, uplifting, encouraging environment. No quotas to fill. Work and learn at your own pace. Plenty of training available. Lots of bonuses and fun, competitive workplace. Not a high pressure sales job. You teach families the benefits of term life insurance and show how to skip the bank to better investment products. Help families ELIMINATE debt sooner and pay less in interest.

    Cons

Occasional office politics. Some bad press online mostly pertaining to specific reps. If you don't do the work and follow the system you won't do well.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the encouraging atmosphere. Remember to uplift and encourage teammates instead of pressure into making sales.

I have been working at Primerica full-time

    Pros

Just the training for life insurance and those things you learn

    Cons

Everything with this kind of business is wrong. It's a pyramid scheme, so it would eventually collapse. It's not ethical, cause it's a pyramid structure and people don't know it, they may involve with the company and don't get the results they've thought of. And most importantly, it would destroy your relationships... Are you willing to use your friends and family as a business opportunity to gain money, then they would conclude that you're a materialist who just want them for their money!

I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to build your own business. You control how much you work and therefore how much you earn. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about managing their own finances and helping others to do the same. Great place for those with an entrepreneurial mindset.

    Cons

If you aren't recruiting/getting qualified referrals you aren't going to build as fast or strong. Once your warm market dries up, it may be difficult to prospect for those without an entrepreneurial mindset. Doesn't offer car/home insurance nor does it offer mortgages. However, it does offer a consolidation of a mortgage through a lending partner.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at re-testing/increasing training for veteran representatives. Some could benefit from a refresher course, as their current ideals and understandings do not correlate with what may be present in our current financial landscape.

I have been working at Primerica full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Great people to work with

    Cons

Head office is cheap, will not spend money for proper office equipment you are asked to use hold equipment plus they treat employees poorly with low pay and little pay increases. Additionally, they are not organized. If there is a new regulatory requirement the company is scrambling at the last minute to be compliant with the rules which increases the amount of stress for a couple weeks.
