I have been working at Power Home Remodeling full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Unlimited earning potential, uncapped commissions, continuous mentorship, leadership conferences, company trip, family involvement.

    Cons

If you are not organized, work life balance can be tough. The job is hard! There is lots of role playing, studying, scripting. Well worth it but if this is not your strength, reconsider or prepare to work harder than you're used to!

I have been working at Power Home Remodeling full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    1. Opportunity for growth: I started working at Power almost 10 years ago in one of our "entry level" positions, and over that time have worked in a variety of different positions. In every role I had the opportunity to develop different parts of my professional skill set while simultaneously learning more about the business and advancing my career. 2. Training: I didn't know anything about home improvement, marketing, sales, or business before I started working here. Luckily, Power invests heavily in training at every position in the company, and employees can always expect to receive extensive training regardless of whichever career path they decide to follow throughout the company. 3. Culture: It's hard to explain without experiencing it first hand, but the culture at Power is amazing. At a cursory glance, most people will probably note the frequent company sponsored happy hours, concerts, live events, summits, workshops, and legendary Mexico trip. However, the people are genuinely caring and compassionate individuals that create an environment of support that is unlike any other workplace I have experienced in my career.

    Cons

    1. Hours: Power works a lot of non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays, which is definitely not for everyone and can create difficulties for a work life balance at times. 2. Pay Plans: A lot of compensation at Power is based on commissions and bonuses from an individuals personal performance. While this can be a positive for individuals that are performing at a high level, it can create variability and inconsistency with pay at times. 3. Hard work: Power has been an amazing place to work in my experience, but I would not call it easy. Power will push you to be the best version of yourself, both inside and outside of work, which requires dedication.
