    I worked at Petronas full-time

    Pros

Great culture, work environment and great co workers.

    Cons

Lack of direction and leadership within the company and within management.

    Advice to Management

Add direction and leadership and employees won't be left wondering about the company and where it going.

I worked at Petronas full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits were great, certain departments had internal mobility

    Cons

Their culture is lacking. They implemented a new culture system of giving people compliments / criticisms via notes. Then the ceo asked people to give 10 out in a month because people aren't buying into it. In terms of work, managers micromanage professionals excessively. Created a bad work environment. The managers are out to save their own necks, so you have to be careful what you say to them. Huge changes in the last few years, with policy and procedures being the most important- not efficiency. Given their work culture, and management, I would not reccomend.

    Advice to Management

Trust the staff you hire to do their job. Change the work culture by not rewarding those who throw others under the bus.

    Pros

So many things you can learn, learning in the hard way, friendly staff, executive and technicians were very helpful, very good culture. They supply all the knowledge if you really work hard, if youu lazy, no one going to give you anything. The key is: always ask question, research, study and be polite never say NO to task.

    Cons

Very stressful and lots of mental and physical challenge (its a TEST)

    Advice to Management

It's a good company i like it, keep the good work
