Pros

Working from home. Access to online training

Cons

There is no such things of work and life balance. They give you as many clients to make up the hours. Dry you to the bone. No resting time at all from clients to clients. The manager only care of the revenue. Hardly on the side of the employees. They take side on abusive clients. The manager playing favoritism. They choose to whom the good training package will given. No sick days, The health benefits is lousy. Pension plan is bad. The turn over is high.

We value the reviews left on Glassdoor, thank you for taking the time to leave yours. We are grateful to be able to offer a remote work environment which we believe enhances work life balance. We focus many efforts on ensuring our employees have access to training and other resources to ensure their success, we are glad you have identified this as a favorable aspect of working here. We attempt to ensure our consulting employees are working/billing a full 40 hours each week to help drive revenue, but never at the expense of good working conditions. We do not tolerate mistreatment of our employees or displays of favoritism. I am sorry to learn of your many frustrations after 4 years of employment, a long tenure. We have several avenues available to you to raise such concerns and I would encourage you to reach out to your operations leadership or human resources if you are seeking resolution. As standard offerings, PayTech does offer sick time as well as a rich 401k plan (not a pension). If you have questions about how to access these, please reach out to your manager. In 2022, PayTech’s turnover rate was well below the average standard for the Professional Services industry. We’ve had multiple individuals return to PayTech as they have identified that the “grass is not always greener.”

Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear you enjoy just some of the many perks of working at PayTech; amazing people and 100% remote work! We appreciate the feedback regarding benefits in Canada, and actually enhanced the benefits package for 2024 shortly after this review was posted (timing unrelated). We hope your perception of the benefits has changed since then.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, we appreciate the feedback. We are grateful you feel that we offer a desirable working environment. We agree that we work with great clients and have wonderful partnerships with the best in the business. I am disheartened to hear that you feel you do not receive support from management. This can be a tough job and we have an incredible management team that’s there to support and advise during engagements. We acknowledge your concern and encourage you to bring specifics forward to Leadership or HR so that we can address and work through these areas with you.
