I have been working at Palantir Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

From day one you get exposed to challenging problems and you help important institutions solve them by using data. Great company mission. It's easy to move from team to team and learn about different industries. Amazing perks. Every person I have met is interesting and brilliant. I love going to work every day.

    Cons

Not a great relationship with media (we don't really have any). There's a lot of false/wrong information out there about our work and not a lot being done to fix that. People tend to get confused with what we do or why we work with certain customers.

    Cons

    - Hard work - Can be slightly political

I worked at Palantir Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You'll work with very talented people. You'll get a lot of responsibility and growth opportunities.

    Cons

Long hours. Management and the PCL team claim to engage with difficult ethical questions, but will not draw red lines and work with whoever pays as long as they're remotely allied. Having the company on your CV may hurt your application in some future jobs.

I have been working at Palantir Technologies full-time

    Pros

Amazing perks and opportunities - I asked to be put on a high travel / foreign facing project and have visited multiple countries this year, learned new languages, and explored whole cultures Every day I feel that I and my peers are working on problems that actually matter. That touch the real world. That are genuinely difficult. General enterprise growth is looking real strong / future seems bright

    Cons

My work life balance definitely askew - though this is partially due to the kinds of things I chose to sign up for.

"This company treats people like they’re less than nothing, bring in the contract even if you get sick or die trying"

    I worked at Palantir Technologies

    Pros

The meals and snacks that are available all day

    Cons

The bullying the leaders allow The facade of caring about their employees but not really, not when there’s a problem, no matter how big or small The salaries and bonuses do not equal the talent or hard work put in by most individuals They are cutting all company events but the leaders still get salary increases and increased bonuses etc The leadership sucks But most of all when you don’t stand up for the right thing and defend good employees and value them you are disgusting

I worked at Palantir Technologies full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - You get to work with high-caliber people - Freedom to learn and experiment - There are free meals and snacks

    Cons

    - Internal politics prevent upward mobility (a lot of entrenched, strong personalities) - More of a consultancy than a true software company - "Street-cred" based merit with extreme recency bias - Equity is worthless in the recent half-decade and completely illiquid - Base compensation & total (realizable) compensation is low compared to Google/Facebook - You won't be traveling as much to enjoyable destinations for deployments given the tightening budget of late - Work/life balance will suck
