Since going "smoke-free" business has gone down some
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work!

Cons
Management can use some improvement. Management's word is law no matter how wrong they are.

I worked at Palace Casino Resort (More than 10 years)
Pros
Good salary for management. Not a lot of responsibility. Basically a glorified baby sitter.
Cons
No teaching to succeed at all. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. F&B Director does all the admin for F&B..........definitely doesn't prepare you for future jobs. No back bone for upper management. Hr has not power at all. They threatened you if you try and go to HR. They don't do proper investigations when people falsely accuse you of things. Your guilty until proven innocent.
Advice to Management
Retire...........Please!!!!!!! Let the next generation succeed where you failed.
I have been working at Palace Casino Resort part-time (More than a year)
Pros
Employees at the Palace are some of the happiest Casino workers on the coast. As a smaller casino you get to know employees in multiple departments. The Palace provides a friendly work environment, flexible hours, and nice, scenic employee break room. It may take some time, but moving to new departments is fairly common.
Cons
The Palace employees are the lowest paid Casino employees on the coast. The food and beverage department has the highest turnover and limited full-time positions.
Advice to Management
Keep listening to employees and try to make weekly schedules more consistent.
