Zero work/life balance, Lindy comes first! Management hires all family members into bs asst. Manager roles. No schedule. Start work at 5 am and get done anywhere from 3 to 9 pm. Impossible to get a day off even if pre planned.

They do not expect you to have a lot of background knowledge in construction and teach you everything you need
Cons
How much work largely depends on what projects are on bid. This means it can be very quiet or busy depending on the week.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
You are treated like a person here, which is rare in the construction industry. They value you, your time, and are understanding when things come up (family or health needs, etc). I feel the compensation is reasonable, and the benefits are good. This company truly strives to understand itself (what they do well/what they can do better) and is actively and actually making changes to improve. Every year they do a little better.
Cons
Better training and career growth opportunities are needed, and a better explanation on how to progress in the company per position and level could benefit everyone. They are actively working on this. Some people in mid-level management are under-achievers but are not held accountable and are sometimes even promoted. This probably also reflects back on lack of position description/base set of skills/responsibilities described and judged against. Needs better diversity (they are also actively working on this).
