    Pros

Organika is a solution-focused company, which means they are always looking for the best strategies in order to meet the clients' needs. Its main focus is on innovation which leads them to a good place in the natural health market with great potential to grow even more. The quality of their products is amazing and they develop a culture of equality by providing equal opportunities to immigrants. They also focus on cohesiveness among the team by trying to keep all employees working towards the same goal. The CEO is a bright young man who is a natural-born leader with lots of ideas which he always puts into practice. His focus has always been on innovation and on "making things better" which is the slogan of the company. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to work for this company because it brought me lots of learning as to how companies can have an amazing growth when they focus on the needs the market is showing, and that´s what they do.

    Cons

The location is remote and hard to get to, especially if you transit.

    Pros

    - Good discount on their products - 35% - They provide good quality products - The employees and some managers are nice.

    Cons

    - The good reviews here look generic. They don't specify the details. I think the CEO asked current employees to give good reviews. - Every decision needs to be passed by the CEO or the COO. This often caused delay in the decision making process. - They don't invest much in good platforms to make employees' lives easier and more efficient. They still use a very old accounting software which caused a lot of manual work for the accounting and sales team. It's not a problem for managers who don't have to do it by themselves, so they just don't push hard to upgrade the software. They expect employees to do manual work without being efficient. - Having new ideas would not be heard. They would prioritize hard-working over being efficient... It's quite discouraging.

I worked at Organika Health Products full-time for less than a year

    Pros

During my time at Organika we went through COVID-19. The company was able to react fast to ensure our newly remote workforce were healthy, both physically and mentally, whilst continuing to push results which saw one of their most successful months. The team was able to improve engagement and communication during this time and it was great to be a part of. The company is very fast paced and always looking for ways to make it better. They live and breath their values and pride themselves in having an transparent and honest leadership style. I loved my time at Organika.

    Cons

None. Organika attracts candidates that thrive in a fast paced values driven organisation. You need to be passionate about what you do and aligned to the goals of the company.

    Pros

    Great team in the warehouse

    Cons

No real progression, the management is rule by fear, they alienate you to make you want to quit. HR department does not care in the slightest, only want to please the CEO and upper management.

I have been working at Organika Health Products part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Organika is a great company to work in. They treat employees like people and not numbers. After 3 different jobs in a very short period of time, I started working at Organika and I found there a Company that invests on employee’s career, that tries to continuously improve and that wants to hear employee’s feedback. They always engage employees and create opportunities for employees to interact with other departments, which is very good for networking and for the overall company’s environment.

    Cons

The distance may be a problem depending on where you live and if you use public transport. It may be a little complicated, but there there are bus stops very close to the building.

    Pros

Not a lot of overtime Monthly socials (albeit NOT company sponsored and at the expense of attendees)

    Cons

    - Disorganized management - Condescending management - Lots of work & no OT paid or banked - Bad systems and processes - Senior management is not very knowledgeable - Last minute requests or requests being made stating that they have asked for particular items in the past despite management asking for the first time - A lot of "he said" "she said" - Management/owners don't care

    Cons

    - they fire anyone that is smarter than them - they micromanage - managers are NOT supportive and are passive aggressive - pay is SUPER low - no benefits - don’t care about employee’s well being - they are only profit driven - you don’t receive constructive feedback - it is a blessing to leave the company

"They "Make Things Better" but not their management"

    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Organika Health Products full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - You get to work with some amazing people. - A diverse workplace. - CEO and President taking the initiative to "make things better" for the workplace and employees such as holding lunch & learns, yoga sessions, on-site chiropractors, etc. - OK employee discounts on products. - Teambuilding events.

    Cons

    - Miscommunication. I cannot stress this enough. One department says one thing, the other department says another, and it drives the people in the middle who work so hard to understand and get the job done, insane. They get so stressed out to the point that the morale declines or even get sick. How ironic that a health supplement company that encourages healthy living, allows something like this to happen to their employees? - Depending who your manager is, you may experience favouritism, as well as frustration because your manager has no clear direction. - Upper management will find someone to blame when it was their idea/decision in the first place. They try to make it so that it looked like it was your fault and not theirs. They preach accountability, but they don't seem to reflect that in their actions. They also can get defensive if someone speaks up against them, and sometimes that can lead to someone getting laid off because they speak the truth. - Owners can be indecisive and careless of what is being proposed to them. They always approve something, and then last-minute change their minds. Sometimes, they change or add something when it's already too late to make changes. Then it becomes the person who worked on it their fault. - Very high turnover. It's either employees get laid off because upper management doesn't like them, or they leave because they can't handle the poor management system. - Not very accessible unless you drive there. - Low compensation. You can start with decent pay, but management will take advantage and exploit you to do more things that way beyond your job description. - Want to learn and grow in the company? This company is not the place for you. They require people who can get the job done and not ask for a raise or promotion.
