I worked at Orckestra (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - You work with driven professionals and engineers with extensive experience. You will learn.
    - The front-end lead is an open, down to earth person you can discuss with, exchange with, discuss technical issues, etc.
    - People are smart and funny.
    - Great clients, with e-commerce projects real people use.
    - Downtown Montreal, great spot near Bell Center.

    Cons

    - Depending on the project, you could be only doing HTML and CSS, not enough JavaScript.
    - Not are projects are great (which is normal) and some have very old crappy code base.
    - Sometimes front-ends don't make the calls regarding the front-end.

I have been working at Orckestra full-time

    Pros

    Great product
    Excellent management
    Great vision
    Fun environment
    Super location
    Bleeding edge technology
There is a mix of technology that's really appealing to any developer. HTML5, React, Angular, name it you have the choice. Teams are extremely independent and really great structure.

    Cons

The company in general is not very communicative with its employees. It's very difficult to understand where they want to go and what kind of culture they want to have for their developers although they're getting there.

    Advice to Management

Communicate often and built a developer culture like startups to attract best people.
