      - Work from home as much as you want. - If you are smart and working hard, you will be rewarded. Plus you can find more interesting projects to work on. - Awesome open-minded people to work with. - Convenient office location in Toronto downtown near CN Tower.

      Cons

      - Incredible bureaucracy to use any new technology/library/framework or to hire a new person. - Forced vacation on Christmas. - Unpaid pager duty for all developers (about two weeks in a year). - Recently they cut our benefits (medical insurance) stating that now we have better and more flexible options. Just be honest with people when you need to cut costs!

      Pros

      FLEXIBLE HOURS AND WORK FROM HOME. Lots of opportunities for growth and options to be involved in a lot of interesting areas.

      Cons

      Wish the benefits let you choose where you wanted your money to go. For example, having a pool of cash for health and wellness that you could use for a gym membership. Salary advancement can be difficult to achieve, but it definitely isn't impossible.

      I worked at Oracle full-time

      Pros

      The Analyst Development Program hire new university graduates and train them on the software from the ground up for 3 months. Experienced consultants are friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to provide support/guidance. Regardless of which office you work out of, there are many resources in the Professional Services team that are willing to help you out. Hours are flexible and there are opportunities to work from home.

      Cons

      Communication and direction from management is very poor and expectations are unclear. Most consultants are overworked, under appreciated and discouraged to take vacation. Consultants are given more projects than they can handle and are quickly burnt out. Management shows time after time that they do not care about employee development or growth and turnover is very high as a result.
