    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Novo Nordisk for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Benefits and compensation are ok

    Cons

No hope for career development if you only know to work hard but don’t know how to flatter your manager

    Advice to Management

The management team always claim to care about employees and keeping talents. I have been working at Novo Nordisk full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good work life balance and benefits. Great company events. New office in the Oct 2017 promises to have cafe and gym onsite.

    Cons

Company policies vary by manager. Lots of micromanagement stemming from a very political environment. Managers are able and do hold back great employees from moving to advanced roles they are offered to keep competent employees helping them shine rather than letting them grow and develop elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Managers should not have an option to hold employees back from internal moves (it just makes them move externally). Company policies need to be clear and applied equally.
