North York General Hospital Employee Reviews about "short staffed"

Hey everyone, I’m wanting to transition to tech from healthcare. I have 5 years experience, working front office (clinic scheduling, admin etc), currently back office (referrals, prior authorizations) , I have basic medical billing/coding knowledge & also provider credentialing experience. Any recommendations for tech roles that could be a fit with my background? I do NOT want to be in customer service or call center type role if at all possible though.

Hi everyone, I am a pediatric occupational therapist with 4 years of experience. I currently work at a pediatric hospital in the Philadelphia area and make 71k. Is this a fair salary for someone with my experience? An annual review is coming up and I’m wondering what would be a fair range to negotiate?

Where to go next? I've been a medical coder for 12yrs and hold a CPC & COC from AAPC. I've worked at a large Healthcare org, as a contractor for another large Healthcare org & lastly worked at a payor in their FWAE dept reviewing pre-pay claims. While I enjoyed my latest position in more of an auditing role, I am thoroughly over working a production environment. Where do I go from here? I live in SoCal & have worked remote for 11yrs & want to continue. I've yet to exceed $60k & really need to.

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?
