    I have been working at Nordstrom full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good health benefits and option to participate in profit sharing and RRSP program.

    Cons

    High turnover and consistently short staffed. Low morale and demanding workload. Compensation not directly aligned with performance. Performance appraisals highly subjective. Roles are arbitrarily increase in scope with no corresponding increase in compensation. Highly political environment.

    -the harder you work the more you get paid! -close relationship with coworkers, feels like a home away from home -flexible schedule -lots of room to grow with the company!

    Cons

    -rude management -mall hours -traffic in store gets slow from Jan-April

    I worked at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    -20% off all merchandise even on sale items! (20% - 13% tax = 7%. so your actual discount) -not many snobby customers -make commission off selling to employees

    Cons

    -fake and rude af coworkers -HR isn't very helpful as well as not diverse for minorities to relate too -work you like a slave for long hours -acting as if they really like you but you know theyre being fake -employees dont know how to do their job right, misplacing BASIC inventory -very tiring -dont make comssion unless sell over $2,000 before pay and some department are slow and get less traffic
