    Fair pay but weak management

    Pros

Hourly pay is comparable to other OSB mills, ok yearly profit bonus, great safety personnel try their best with what's in their power, ok benifits, great hourly staff, pro rated vacation time for your first year.

    Cons

Blame heavy location, most injuries will result in termination of employee. Bonus systems designed around productivity and safety has no bearing. Norbord does not give the nessessary resources to the local safety department. Poor scheduling, many employees depending on position are unable to take a break during shift. HR dept does nothing except hire new people when dissatisfied employees quit. Overall its not a bad place to work, they just need to find some good people to run the HR dept who will look out for the employees..

    Pros

The people, plain and simple. Most of the folks are old school, warm and receptive. Truly one of the companies strengths.

    Cons

Many employees are on their way to retirement, and that's bringing in the hot and heavy new bloods. This is creating friction and making employees confrontational and working environments tense.
