    Pros

This is a company that truly understands that people are at the heart of the success of any team and organization. They therefore prioritize a whole bunch of initiatives that put people and their well-being first, and it makes the work culture engaging, challenging and satisfying. Some good examples: - Extremely generous vacation time (4 weeks off + 2 off at Christmas) - Flexibility on work hours, time off, and even work location (need not be in the same city to excel and be hired) - Regular anonymous weekly surveys to check in about team culture, work/life balance, recognition and sentiment among staff - Very fair salaries, plenty of opportunities for paid training and chances to grow into bigger roles - Very fun work events that embrace a covid reality but still manage to be unique and extremely engaging - A hiring process that highlights the value of complementary skills, personality and cultural fit, not just merit and credentials

    Cons

Wish I would have known about them sooner

    Pros

Big emphasis on the importance of our corporate culture - everyone is respected as individuals, and there's lots of support available. We have the best co-workers, with really fascinating backgrounds and interests. The work is fast-paced, every changing, and highly engaging. The company is growing so fast that opportunities are endless! There's a high value on educating yourself and learning.

    Cons

Start-up life isn't for everyone, but I love it! The pace and workload can be a lot at times, but communication is amazing between teams, so there's always someone to help.

    Pros

I have worked at Nolk for 6 months now and this has been the best employeur that I have had so far. Management has extensive experience, provides workplace autonomy, supports is actively provided when requested/needed, they are attentive to employee happiness and growth, and are also very generous on vacation (4 weeks + 2 week closure for Christmas...!). The work culture and team are a careful curation of creative, hard working and humble and this has lead to a cohesive team that are helpful, competent and overall exciting people to be be around!

    Cons

Office is located in the south shore which is less than idea however the new office looks like it will be amazing.

Nolk is a fast growing start-up. I have been working here since 2018. Overall, 1) Excellent work culture. 2) very nice co-worker. 3) Open-minded employer open to new ideas. 4) Full Job Autonomy.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is the location, around 30 mins driving distance from downtown Montreal.

    Pros

Nolk has done a great job of putting the team first while still recognizing individual successes. The hiring process is considered and thoughtful, and the end result is a great group of people to work with. I've been fortunate to work with Nolk since the early beginning, being employee #2, and it's been a treat to see the company grow to what it is today. Aside from that, other notable highlights are: - Generous paid time off - Flexibility in working schedule - High levels of autonomy - Genuine concern for employee welfare

    Cons

The office is lovely, but around 20 kms from downtown Montreal, in St. Bruno. Not the end of the world, but it is a bit of a tour to get there.
