- Students are kind and are fun to work with - Field trips, special events made some work days special - Teachers are generally trusted with creating their own lesson plans and aren't micro managed when it comes to the learning materials
Cons
- Managament is disorganized and expects teachers to go above and beyond for what is very low wages - Strategies and expectations are unclear, or only explained after mistakes were made (because staff was not made aware of them, sometimes students know of changes before staff does) - Student grades are fudged or changed - No overtime pay, no benefits, teachers are expected to work throughout their lunch breaks and 15 minute break to supervise students outside, also expected to work Saturdays and weekends w/o overtime -Little support, little pay, no opportunity for growth, no positivity. In the end, it is not sustainable for someone who wants to advance their career, it is only good for some teaching experience if you need it

Pros
They take some disciplinary action against the kids.
Cons
- They fudge grades - Management doesn’t understand plagiarism - All hard work and expertise unappreciated - No benefits - Low pay - Botton line is money since it’s a private school - not what is right or in the students’ best interests - High school teachers are made to supervise elementary students during recess, etc.

Pros
Leaving the school was the only pro of my experience
Cons
This school needs to be shut down. If you are a woman working at the school, you will be blamed for everything you do. Students will get away with bad behaviour. You get no admin support and you end up paying out of your own pocket to pay for resources.
