    Pros

Good people. We always tried to hire the best. Good benefits. Healthcare and otherwise. Very rarely had any time when there wasn't something to do. No boredom here. Team oriented. Everybody was ready to help you out. If you're wondering why I'm not there any more, then answer is I retired.

    Cons

Very complex application. Outages were not tolerated very well.

I worked at NextGen Healthcare full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Timing - Extremely good talent at the Junior experience level. - Good team work in certain products can be seen. - Work life balance is good.

    Cons

    - Pathetic & Confused Management. Tend to go into Panic mode very fast instead of working on a solution to resolve it. - Technology-wise not much to learn. - Process-wise it's degraded over the years, instead of improving on the same. - Hiring at higher level should be improvised to a very great extent. - Job risk eventually increased. - Zero efforts to move the company towards innovation. Focused only on developing mandatory feature with no scope of allowing people to show their creativity.

I worked at NextGen Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are some nice coworkers. Some people really are trying. There are some interesting projects and technologies if you are able to work on them.

    Cons

This is a company not guided by any values or principles other than staying afloat. As a result there is a lot of insincerity, dishonesty, misleading customers, bullying, and putting the needs of managers ahead of decent treatment of workers. A very poor environment for women especially. am very sad that I spent my time and energy in such an environment.
