I have been working at Nestlé Purina U.S. full-time

    Pros

Nestle Purina PetCare offers challenging, engaging opportunities to those that are willing to step out and try things that may be a bit out of their comfort zone. Supportive environment with great people. Opportunities to try new things, to get involved in a positive way and make a difference.

    Cons

No cons, great company with great values.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep pulse at what is happening in the factories and how change affects those working there....

I worked at Nestlé Purina U.S. full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Bring dog to work. Good benefits and relatively ok compensation.

    Cons

Wrong people promoted. No appreciation for hard working dedicated employees. Must kiss butt to get ahead.

    Advice to Management

Trust your people and don’t micro manage. Give praise to those who deserve it. Stop talking hire to retire when you spend more time firing hard workers.

    "Great Company but changing times...."

    StarStarStarStarStar

I have been working at Nestlé Purina U.S. for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good culture....people friendly and pet friendly work place

    Cons

Culture is changing as company is choosing to hire people from outside who really dont fit in the company's "family oriented" culture. These employees from other companies tend to do things their own way and do not integrate with existing Purina folks.

    Advice to Management

Retain culture to retain good employees who have been with the company during thick and thin of times

I have been working at Nestlé Purina U.S. full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The new people actually care -which is refreshing

    Cons

This company is an upside down Pyramid. Almost all Senior Management has worked here since the 70's and have no idea what is happening on the outside-in the sense of new culture and methods -they are all waiting for pension and retirement. There is actual bullying going on in the work place and HR works directly for the staff who have the longest service levels. You have to watch your back daily and learn to trust... nobody-most are scared and the others are looking to teach "the younger generation a lesson" of which they have no idea. or its mean based.... If your a bully personality you can run free and implement Ridiculous projects that take up all your staff's time and have no reasoning except to glorify yourself

    Advice to Management

Retire-boys clubs are a thing of the 70/80's and don't belong in today's work culture.
