I worked at NIKE full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Working for Nike was a highlight of my career. I worked with amazing people on incredibly cool projects and had opportunities that I may not have had at other companies. PTO and other benefits are top notch.

    Cons

You have to make a personal commitment to maintain your work/life balance or wind up working completely crazy hours. Some of the teams and managers can be pretty toxic. My experience was 99% working with terrifically supportive managers. 1% was with a dysfunctional team and a self-serving manager.

I have been working at NIKE full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very nice place to work, fast pace environment and young mentality company. Great work life balance and a lot of benefits on top of a very multicultural environment/colleagues. Amazing people working there and Employee discount for the products.

    Cons

Complex matrix, low base salaries, difficulty in cross-functional career changes, Hiring process not always consistent. Gym needs to a refit, does not look like Nike Status.

I worked at NIKE full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

An incredibly creative and educational place to work. You learn so many business and communication skills, while managing the coolest projects in the world. These are certainly covet-worthy jobs. Great benefits and perks.

    Cons

Game of Thrones is real, and it is called Nike. This company is extremely bureaucratic, with too many hoops to jump through for any decision. If you're not part of the favored group, you're made to less than - Indespensible, of no value on your own, and like you should be happy to just have a job. Over the years it became more of a popularity contest vs spotlighting real talent. Work/life balance is extremely poor. Great internal culture is talked about, but not carried through by team leaders.
