Sad to leave this amazing workplace

      Pros

      - Rewarding work with exposure to a variety of tasks. You are given autonomy while also having access to full support from management. Since projects are always changing, I didn't get a sense of monotony which exists with bigger finance departments. - Great people and culture. Everyone is friendly and fun to work with. The company makes you feel like they actually care. The monthly BBQ and treat days are great perks too.

      Cons

      - Driving to Leduc can get tedious, and result in more mileage, if you live on the north side of Edmonton. - Interview process is long. I went through 2 sets of interviews before meeting the people I actually work with.

      Pros

Decent benefits — unfortunately they use this to validate why they don’t adjust their subpar salaries.

      Cons

Low pay by industry standards (seriously, look anywhere else but here...)

      Pros

Good company culture in the local office. NDT does provide a good work life balance

      Cons

Some corporate decisions don’t make sense. Lack of local ability to make decisions can add unneeded challenges to your workload.

Ok compensation but a drag of a place to work!

      Pros

      - Ok pay - bonus package (if overall company performance is rated high on KPI) - When I finally left this company

      Cons

      - Work culture is little to laid back, no sense of urgency in responsibilities - Boring atmosphere and boring people to work with - Lack of inclusive atmosphere in regards to making new staff feel a part of the overall 'team' - Ho-hum attitude from senior staff - During the interview process, a particular HR staff member will paint a picture during the interview that the company is an awesome place to work - This is the furthest thing from reality, don't believe the hype! - Didn't feel that the company stood behind the company's stated values (overall company values just felt like window dressing BS) - Overall a lot of disorganization from the front office. Deadlines are not meet. No direction whatsoever. - Ask or imply for more responsibilities would be meet with resistance and lack of concern - rudeness and self-centered attitude displayed by quite a few front office staff - Working out of the Nisku office felt like a process to just get a paycheck and nothing more.

      Pros

NDT is a constantly improving organization. There is a strong commitment to the values and goals set. There is a great work-life balance. Lots of events within the organization. Great benefits and salaries are overall reasonable.

      Cons

Because of the company's want to improve, there are a lot of changes and modifications in the processes that you have to bear through.
