I have been working at Moteefe full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - A great team with young and talented people - Multi-cultural; my team alone consists of people from 6 different countries - Lots of exciting projects to work on that really are important to the business - Hiring many new people which is exciting as the teams are constantly growing and changing

    Cons

    - It's still a young company with fast growth so it can be a bit hectic at times - but mostly in a good way

    Advice to Management

    - Keep it up

I worked at Moteefe full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Honestly, the team (minus the 3 founders) were amazing and so much fun. We all became friends and bonded in such a short time. The best people. The worst founders. The company also lies a lot about its numbers. A LOT.

    Cons

I can't begin to tell you how terrible this business is. The founders lie to you all the time, they pitch you against eachother and they constantly put you down. No work is ever good enough here and it's terrible watching as your fellow employees get fired for working their butts off. If you're thinkinng about working here then please don't even apply.

    Advice to Management

    Please just leave.

    Pros

One of the best teams I've met. Lots of energy and passion. Company gives you lots of autonomy and pays attention to what you have to say. Empowering mission in helping marketers and influencers to become their own employers

    Cons

All the growing pains of a startup. It's getting better as we go.

I have been working at Moteefe full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Young team, with all the passion, dedication and effort applied in what we do. -A group of people willing to give all they've got to improve and make the company grow as a whole. -Flexibility between management and the collaborators in terms of remote work. -As far as I've noticed, everyone, no matter how long you've been in the company, has a voice and all opinions are heard.

    Cons

-Though the management is quite nice, young and flexible, the need to have an "ultimate approval" process in every little step of the company makes things actually go slower. The founders could delegate and trust more their top collaborators expertise, so these can lead their own teams into making something even better. Things get a bit frustrating when the "factory stops" for every little approval or when... something changes drastically after weeks of work and no relevant feedback was added to prepare us for such drastic change in the process. I'd say the worst con is the fact that is hard to know what's happening next, considering all the decisions go through the same axis and I feel that I'm working a bit too much "on the go", not to say a bit blind folded sometimes.

    Advice to Management

-Better internal communication -Sharing more realistic expectations and vision about the company's future in long term scenarios with all the collaborators. -Delegate more. -Trust more. -Share the company's future more with your people.

I have been working at Moteefe full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The energy in all departments and the friendly atmosphere The different opportunities for a career, Free breakfast, coffee/tea and fruits all day everyday

    Cons

Opportunities are frequent but competition for them is always very strong so be prepared to try, fail, learn, and then try again! Still, a few minor bumps to iron out but nothing of huge note and the business is growing rapidly so these are minor compared to the positives

    Advice to Management

Great job. Line managers thanks for being supportive and open to chat. Leadership team, you felt a bit distant last year and I wasn't sure what you were up to but this has improved, thanks for being willing to listen. A budget for team building stuff would be nice!

I have been working at Moteefe full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    (1) Good salary for remote workers. Your salary is negotiated during the early stages of the interviews. (2) Highly skilled Software Engineers in the team. As a less experienced one, it is a good opportunity to learn from them and improve yourself. (3) Modern tools and techniques, such as GitHub, Slack, Jira, Unit and Integration tests, and so on... (4) Very flexible. You do not need to sticky to a... very specific timezone. You can also take holidays based on your country's ones. (5) People all around the world. You meet Russians, Brazilians, British, Italians, and many others. It is a good opportunity to meet different cultures and know different profiles. (6) Your English does not need to be completely perfect. They are flexible with usual mistakes, as long as you make yourself understandable. This helps retaining talents by their professional skills. (7) Technical interview does not require insane white-board tests. You are tested based on what you will be building with the company. (8) Recent improvements to development process. Scrum started being taken seriously, with many advantages and innovations, which allows the engineers to improve themselves and also improve the development funnel. (9) People, in general, are warm and receptive. Specially people from the other areas, such as Customer Success, Marketing, Design, and etc. Even the directors make jokes, which helps building an inclusive environment.

    Cons

    (1) Lack of communication between engineers. Recently new processes were implemented, which might improve this problem. (2) A bit of ego in the Engineering team. Engineers are often too afraid to make questions. Engineers are often thinking the others should know everything. This is a culture that has been improved. (3) Code quality is often not taken seriously. Engineers are often not too motivated to... improve already existent code. (4). Lack of career plans. There should be more clarification about your current role and what next position you could reach - as well as how to get there.

    Advice to Management

It is really nice to see that management has been working hard in order to take our feedback into account. Keep moving on this way. We are a young company, which means every employee here still has a lot to learn. It is a constant process. From the management team, as a top priority, I'd suggest a career plan. It is really important to have expectations of grow up in our careers, as people have ambitions.
