I have been working at Molson Coors full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

A people centric business placing great emphasis on development, winning the right way and work/life balance. The category is a fun one to be part of. Real ambition for sustainable growth. International assignment opportunities.

    Cons

The beer category is a competitive one so be prepared for the challenge. (Doesn't stop it being fun though).

I have been working at Molson Coors full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Molson is the oldest brewery in North America, and with it comes an amazing portfolio of iconic brands and an unparalleled history to learn from. We work with some of the best agencies in Canada to develop creative campaigns and brand design from the ground up, which is rare for a global company with Canadian offices. The company culture is very people-centric, amazing benefits and very fair compensation.... But the best part is the people, you always feel supported, everyone wants you to succeed but at the same time challenges you to become a better leader.

    Cons

Molson is still finding its way through a challenging and often changing beer landscape, the company still needs to improve its speed to market through more efficient handoffs with a focus on execution.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Molson Coors full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Legacy brand that epitomizes Canada.

    Cons

Slow moving, and too worried about semantics and arbitrary KPI's instead of truly selling beer.

    I worked at Molson Coors

    Pros

This is a great company to work for. They attract top talent and the work environment is second to none. They have a commitment to train, especially in sales.

    Cons

Bigger beer companies are struggling to gain market share and volume and therefore change has been constant. If you thrive in a changing industry and work environment then this is the company for you.

    Advice to Management

Continue to attract top talent and continue to invest in your employees. Turnover is healthy but too much turnover changes culture.

    I worked at Molson Coors

    Pros

Great team, good sales experience and fun environments. Free beer and great connections working in the field. All around incredible Sumer job.

    Cons

You'll never want to leave. You have long hours that pay off. If you don't like to drink beer don't bother.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and keep hiring internally from this program.

    Pros

Some of the greatest people you could work with have graced the halls of Molson Coors. Plenty of seasoned beer people. Great people, products, training, events and culture.

    Cons

Straight talk is encourage but not acted upon. Long time brands are struggling to remain relevant in a mature beer market where choice is plentiful. Times are changing in the Beer industry. Difficult to keep up with ABI.

    Advice to Management

People are you number one asset.

I have been working at Molson Coors full-time

    Pros

Free beer, daily free lunch, social, casual, summer hours and fun. Great for young professionals.

    Cons

Traffic. Driving there and going home could be a nightmare due to the traffic. Might not be a fit for everyone. You need to love beer, jokes and are social to be a fit.

    I worked at Molson Coors

    Pros

Great brands, good benefits, in house bar, beer allowance, talented team, interesting work, large budgets to invest, community values and support

    Cons

Demanding, High expectations, Not a supportive learning environment, Business under pressure due to declines in beer volumes, Divide between sales and marketing

    Advice to Management

Where there is high turnover for a particular role over many years, it tends to demonstrate that it is not the individual at fault but more a function of the demands of the role and the environment. You might want to look at the structure in those areas.
