    Pros

The company is going through transformation which makes the work fun and exciting, and you feel like your work can contribute to something huge.

    Cons

There can be a lot of work, but if you are the type of person that thrives under pressure, its not really a con.

I have been working at Metroland Media Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Intellectually easy work, friendly supervisor, fresh air

    Cons

Ridiculously low pay for hours involved in preparing papers for delivery, all weather conditions, takes advantage of youth with limited employment options (pre-highschool age).

    Advice to Management

Pay a fair wage to your carriers and stop teaching them that it's ok to exploit children for profit.

I have been working at Metroland Media Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    The people you work with
    Benefits

That's about it at this point

    Cons

Pretty much everything. The company is falling fast! The management team is horrible. I work for one of the largest properties in Metroland... I can actually say I feel bad selling advertisers are subpar advertising "solutions". Morale is at an all time low. Revenue is declining yet direct managers don't seem to care. I would not recommend this company. I work with 15 or so other sales reps and EVERY SINGLE one is looking for a new job or praying for a VDP. Stay clear of Metroland

    Advice to Management

I have no advice to managers because I know it is a waste of breath. They do not care what employee think or advertiser's tell them.

Easy job, you don't need to submit a resume or have an interview.

    Cons

Extremely low pay, you'll have to carry around heavy newspapers in the burning sun and freezing cold.
