The people at Mendix are incredibly kind and clearly take pride in working for this company. Employees are welcoming, patient with questions, and generous with sharing their institutional knowledge! If you love being around smart and dedicated people then Mendix is a place you want to work - the passion is palpable in the office!

Cons

The company has experienced quite a bit of change over the course of the past 12 months and is still determining it's "new normal" rhythm . However, there are definitely opportunities to influence and contribute to the future.

Pros

A lot of smart, hardworking people coming together to solve real challenges in enterprise. Anyone at any level can make an impact and take on major responsibility. Lots of visibility to leadership, at least in the Marketing org. Look forward to going to work each day.

Cons

Like any company rapidly growing, we enter new phases that require transition periods. Priorities can change, and sometimes we can't hire fast enough to do the work required to move us into the next phase.

Advice to Management

Keep communicating priorities to every single employee, promote high performing individuals, expect excellence but give us to the tools to get there.

-Growing company can sometimes cause less transparency between management and employees

Advice to Management

Alignment is key. Various things change with scaling, but keeping employee base informed is valued. Other than that, there are really no cons to this company. It is an amazing place to work with outstanding potential. If you're offered a seat on a rocket ship, don't ask what seat... just get on.

The leadership team at Mendix is outstanding. The leaders truly care about everyone's success and it makes for an amazing work environment. Incredible office too in the heart of the Seaport!

Pros

All the perks of a start-up but the leadership, vision, and culture of an established company. Mendix really knows what it's doing -- the technology is second to none and the talent endless. I think to myself multiple times a day, these are the smartest and most hardworking people I have ever met! I really look forward to coming to work everyday and am grateful to a part of such a cool company and great team.

Cons

Some typical "growing pains" and minor inconveniences associated with the acquisition but nothing other than that.
