    Horrible Place to Work

    Pros

No weekends Decent pay Hours are okay

    Cons

Management is not at all equipped to run a pharmacy of this size, therefore other employees end up doing whatever they want. Management plays favouritism with certain employees. Serious issues are not doubt with, management just waits for people to move on or forget about there problems.

    .... :(

    Pros

Clean office, friendly staff, management has a positive attitude, they are trying to everything they can to improve employee morale, on a low budget. - small events, lunches, engagement sorts of events -- it's an engaging workplace for sure, and positive in that aspect

    Cons

IF you have a family you won't be able to work here -- they pull a bit of a bait & switch with off days, and actually require you to alternate between 5 and 6 day workweeks. The employee benefits like drug plan, dental, disability, and insurance and such are actually not paid just by the company, but by the employee through ** HEFTY ** payroll deductions. You'll actually earn less than minimum wage once the ** MANDATORY ** benefits deductions are taken off, even unpaid lunch, and then you'll wind up working hectic 5 / 6 day weeks, plus holidays. Just go anywhere else. You'll earn more and have far less stress as.... and yes, EARN MORE and less stress.... at.... -- McDonalds -- WalMart -- Any Supermarket Why earn "less than minimum" after mandatory deductions, when you can earn bare minimum and wind up ahead almost anywhere else?

If you value your time and career, avoid this place like the plague! It's a disaster

    Pros

free parking, management likes to spend a lot of time expensing lunches rather than managing.

    Cons

There are many to mention. Leadership is non-existent and play favorites. If you aren't part of the inner circle, you likely won't last long. Leaders in general have no clue about what other groups do, how the business runs and are generally non-communicative. This place is like high school. Gossipy, cliquey. Most people here are long time employees so very adverse to change. Same issues with client service and operations come up over and over again but they are generally ignored. Management has no clue how to motivate or lead a team effectively, and only care about maintaining their high user engagement score. This is because it affects their annual bonus. Actually had a director send out a mass email to team members asking them to maintain the 96% positive reviews!! All the other feedback left on here about over work, underpaid, under appreciated, gossipy, back stabbing, not client focused.... they are all true. Honestly, if you are unemployed and in desperate need of a job, then join. But if you have options, I suggest you stay far, far away from here. It will kill you career, motivation and soul. The turnover rate is insane. Anyone who has any skill/ability leaves. You are left with lifers..

Not the best place to work.

Sep 30, 2016 - Pharmacy Assistant and Automed Technician in Calgary, AB

    Pros

Good team, day went by fast, helped clients, organized layout. Most say better than retail pharmacy. Very little customers to deal with. Hours were good, M-F. Open 8-4.

    Cons

Only hired new staff when there are a certain number of beds serviced, which really isn't good. People feel overworked, and the work load was not spread evenly. Some people would have nothing to do, and others would have too much to do. Too far of a commute, when office was moved. Wage increases not sufficient.

Inventory clerk-All together a terrible experience

Sep 5, 2014 - Inventory Clerk in Mississauga, ON

    Pros

wages are comparatively better than the merchandising jobs...Though they say its an inventory clerk's position, but 98 percent of the time you would be filling the shelf's with medicines , scanning and receiving stuff, supplying paper boaxes, cutting card boards and would get called quite frequently to work in the shipping department , could not understand why though the department was adequately manned by two people.

    Cons

Management bias.Schedules are prepared not by managers but by people who don't have any idea about scheduling staff.Workforce is not representative.Leadership doesn't live to hear the concerns of their staff.I could feel like its an authoritarian company with no values and concerns for the people working at the bottom.Though they have become part of a big chain, but still don't have a perpetual inventory systems....such a disaster...even the management does not know how to manage inventory...and lack expertise....people with no back ground in pharmacy are running the operations with no clue about inventory and merchandising management. No scope for career advancement in the company...

    Pros

They have the verbal intention of being great to their employees and creating a great with environment... Benefits are good

    Cons

They fall short of their intentions. There aren't enough people to do the work and they won't hire the needed people so there's no work life balance. Everyone is stressed out and over worked... And blamed for falling behind. Company wide
