I have been working at MedImmune full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great 'Biotech' atmosphere. and a great place to work Lots of opportunities to engage with the scientific community and to share and also publish research.

    Cons

Little opportunity for career development, often suggested you have to 'move on to move up'. Flattened hierarchical structure means it is difficult to gain management experience required for promotion.

    Advice to Management

Create more opportunities to gain management experience to allow for career development.
