Really focus on the development of employees through there time working at the camp. There is a natural progression of tasks and responsibilities. Lots of emphasis on creating a cohesive staff environment.

    Cons

Lots of time dedicated to job outside of regular work hours to achieve very high expectations. Always need to be high energy.

I worked at McMaster University part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As a graduate student teaching assistant I was provided sufficient in-person training as well as additional resources for professional development. Experience will vary depending on courses and supervisors.

    Cons

Occasionally the work expected exceeds what can be reasonably completed in the the number of hours that you are paid for. Take a good look at your hours of work form before signing it (if you are a new TA, ask someone who is experienced to look at it for you) and be sure to keep track of your hours.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, and keep helping students achieve what they want to achieve by giving them support.
