I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fast growth, Analyst to Partner in 10 years, or out Learn a lot in a short span of time Great networking opportunities

    Cons

Lower compensations compared with US offices Work-life balance is difficult to maintain Cut throat competition

    Advice to Management

Bring compensation on par with other US offices, this is really a turn off. Higher taxes in Canada, and lower compensations

I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You learn how to solve large and complex problems faced by C-suite level individuals in world leading companies. You also build your analytical skills, your presentation and communication skills and develop long lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.

    Cons

At times you need to work some very long hours and travel often. Projects vary in pace and sometime it may feel that by the time you've built a connection with the problem you're solving and the people you're working with you need to move on to a new project

    Advice to Management

Make it "your own McKinsey", think about what you want your experience a year or 2 from today be like and carve your own path to get there. There's so much that can be done in almost any function, industry, and country!
