    Pros

Gets you in stores to see other companies that offer more to their Wholesale Distributor's.

    Cons

There is no support given to WD's even though that's District Manager's job description. District Manager's are overpaid and hardly work. Honestly the District Managers I've dealt with are never available and if you do get through to them it's clear they're at home or doing some other personal errands while giving you an excuse why they are not doing their job to support you. Mckee expects you to put up all your time and money to sell their products. They pay less commission than any other company, charge 100% back to you for credits, give no warehouse allowance, you have no support whatsoever to sell their product which with hostess getting aggressive on prices the product has no value! Unless you want to spin your wheels wasting a tremendous amount of time and your own money, do not let them talk you into being a Wholesale Distributor!

    Advice to Management

Do your job! Support your Wholesale Distributor's like you're supposed to. Read your job description and practice it. You're overpaid and do not do your job!

I have been working at McKee Foods full-time

    Pros

Profit sharing, great 401k benefits and some good people. Not that much positives.

    Cons

There are a few challenges working here. You have to keep your head down and your mouth shut. People will stab you in the back because there threaten by you or you just make them look lazy. Too many people doing one job, you don't need several people to do one job, really need to do some restructuring.

    Advice to Management

Seriously observe the office environment. Reevaluate the managers. Be sure that everyone does truly respect each others differences. Stop being stuck in the past and look to progress.

I worked at McKee Foods full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

For a truck driver it really doesn't get any better in terms of pay, benifits and time off. Their bonus program is second to none, with a safety bonus every 25k miles and a very lucrative profit share. So here's the good and the bad of this driving job: good and in my opinion the best part of the job you typically only work 3 days a week! And because you only work 3 days a week there is plenty of opportunity to make extra cash. Now the bad ( and it's really not bad it's just some people are lazy and can't get along with others ) you have to unload 2 loads of cookies a week and you run team. So there it is, was the best trucking job I ever had. I'm in management with another company now or I'd still be there!

    Cons

There is really nothing to say here they are a great company with great benifits. If you don't mind working hard and get along with others you will really enjoy this job.

    Advice to Management

None great group of managers there!

    Pros

Good money for the amount of work. Plenty of hours and overtime. The owners are great people who help anyone in need with donations of little Debbie's. Like gatlinburg tn.

    Cons

Some departments are on mandatory 6 days a week. Benefits are slowly going downhill

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging and deal with the employees yourself
