    Pros

The McDonald's I first worked at was very well regulated. There were timed schedules for the employees to follow regarding food handling, sanitation, restock, etc. Contrary to popular belief, the working space was cleaned regularly by the employees, and a more thorough cleaning and maintenance of equipment was done nightly by professionals.

    Cons

However, some days (especially the weekends) were severely understaffed, and the kitchen staff would be blamed for the sluggish work of getting food out even when they were working as hard as possible.

    Advice to Management

The fast food promise that McDonald's strives to uphold is a good one, but management should be more patient, especially towards the younger part time workers that are working under the stress of a first job.
