    Pros

Meeting local people who I otherwise would not encounter.

    Cons

Poor management, poor support, colleagues who don't respond to texts and emails . Colleagues who change phone number (and do not notify you, lol). No product on the shelf to sell. Reporting systems redundant, duplicate and non intuitive, that would regularly fail to upload or send.I have very little confidence in these systems or managements desire to update tem.The demo area was well hidden .

I worked at Match Marketing Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I very much like the company Nespresso and the Brand I was promoting & selling Nespresso coffee machines, this was the main reason to join the Nespresso Sales Ambassador Program. Also, working at different store locations both were great learning experiences. Love to sell.

    Cons

Many. Poor Management. Poor communications from Management. Some difficulties getting the much needed supplies to succeed in your job and the lack of support from Match MG management. Lack of recognition, the store managers will give you more recognition for achieving/exceeding sales goals and for services than your own employer, Match. Poor work scheduling practices from Management consistently changing your work schedule and locations Last Minute even after your schedule has been previously agreed upon and sometimes re-confirmed, very difficult to have a work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Proactive on giving quality support on basic needs of your Sales Ambassadors for much success.

    Pros

    - Working toilets
    - Close to places that aren't it
    - Multiple exits from which to run screaming

    Cons

Sitting far back from the curb
    Within an industrial ‘burb
    Is a marketing group
    Of some ill-repute
Whose stories you may not have heard

    Located such as they are,
There’s plenty of spaces for cars,
    Free parking galore
    Belie what’s in store
For employees who let down their guard

    Management, useless and dumb
They smile like sharks smelling chum,
    With greedy dead eyes
    And effortless lies
To keep the cogs under their thumb

    A talentless runt of man
    Who mutters of grandiose plans
    Will ply you with snacks
    And claps on the back
While holding a surprise in his hand

    Remember how many were lost
When Wrath King was suddenly boss
    Unleashed by the brass
    Maniacal hack
Who gleefully picked who got tossed

    For many a welcome reprieve
From stories too gross to believe
    They cheat and they laugh
    They screw their own staff
    You’ll welcome the imminent heave

So read the reviews for yourself
This place is a circle of Hell
    A cesspool, a sewer
    Of human manure
    A morally destitute shell

    Advice to Management

    Repent.

I have been working at Match Marketing Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Extra vacation day on long weekends
    Great benefits
    RRSP contributions
    Flexible work hours if requested

    Cons

This place has gone downhill in a wheel barrel. What started as a company that prides themselves on integrity and trust has become a company of lies, deceit and games. They are loosing clients like crazy, and keep hiring high priced, useless “Sr leadership” staff and cutting the “little guys” jobs. I have yet to see a single one of these upper management jokes bring in any new business, or do anything of any importance other than take our money and our bonuses. Oh did I mention when you sign your contract they tell you that you are eligible for a bonus but haven’t actually given one out in years. I don’t know what they’re doing, but clearly something isn’t working and life/the business was so much better when CD was in charge.

    Advice to Management

Close your doors. Stop trying it’s not worth it.
