I have been working at Match Marketing Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - lots of room to grow
    - opportunities to touch a lot of different clients and projects
    - decent benefits & perks

    Cons

    - Not a great culture in the office
    - not enough team bonding experiences
    - below average compensation
    - lack of guidance and mentor ship from management
    - extremely high rate of turnover

    Advice to Management

Would really really encourage Match management to invest some $$ in team culture experiences (both department and company-wide). Staff are often left unappreciated and unheard which is causing a very high turnover rate. People also don't seem to know they're colleagues anymore, so they're lest invested and connected with the company.

Overall it's a really great company, it just needs to start focusing more on team management and team culture - this will help build more happy and loyal employees.

I worked at Match Marketing Group full-time

    Pros

No pros that I can think of.

    Cons

If you want to waste your time working at match, expect not to get paid for a month, don’t expect to be given a desk or even be acknowledged for atleast a few months, oh and then don’t go to the director and tell them it’s a shame but I feel like I haven’t been given the tools to succeed and give your two weeks, only for them to say no! And that things will get better and to stick it out til 2018!! Good things are coming!!!! To only get fired 3 weeks later with a bunch of other people. This company doesn’t even hire their full time staff, they give them contracts for a couple months at a time so that they don’t have to pay their employees benefits or entitle them to vacation time. This company doesn’t care for their staff and that is why there are so many bad reviews. The odd good review is from management telling their staff to go online and post good reviews to make them appear a little better.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what you’re doing and don’t jerk people around for months.

    Pros

    A large network of agencies

    Cons

Poor workplace culture; horrible work-life balance; Since they are owned by a VC firm, profitability is the only thing that matters - so they will cut down your team because per head profitability can't be compromised; be ready to spend extra long hours; lots of stick, very little carrot; they specialize in buying agencies but can't seem to keep the clients; senior management is busy acquiring new agencies and the people who run the show are a bunch of incompetents who don't know how to run an agency; very high turnover; the amount of time I spent interviewing and training is just plain ridiculous; they are also excellent at constructive dismissal; if they feel you are too expensive for the role or if you joined the agency because they bought your agency, they will make your life hell in a slow systematic way so that you just get up and leave; I can go on and on; the 2 years I spent at this agency are the worst 2 years of my career.

    Advice to Management

You need to hire some good people to run the show - hire people who have a track-record of successfully running mid-level agencies; as an agency you have nothing if you don't have good employees - your current culture is driving away good employees. Wake up! And keep the bean counters from Beringer away from the running of the agency.

    Cons

SO disorganized. No one lets you do your job. It feels like high school, so mush gossip. No one has the right answer.
    Very fast turnover.

    Advice to Management

Stop having favorites and let people attempt to do their job.

    Pros

Young, fun office. Employees are awesome. Great clients. Nothing else good to say unfortunately. There is a lunchroom... it’s nice....

    Cons

People are too overworked to have any fun. This is across all departments on a constant basis. Traffic around the office is awful.

    Advice to Management

Ask employees for their advice to fix the company. You would probably learn a lot
