      Worklife balance?

      Pros

great co-workers and work environment in Winnipeg-Lag. Some opprotunity for growth if you work really hard and lots of hours.

      Cons

Poor Management and Senior Leadership Team. Absolutely no work life balance. You could be on your death bed and still be expected to show up to work. You have to be a brown noser in order to move up in status.Lots of Supervisors with very poor people skills; lots of bickering and favortism between supervisors. Some supervisors let the status go to their heads, being extremely rude and disrespectful to hourly employees to the point of threats. They should be cleaning up the garbage people they have as supervisors.

      Pros

Canadian company, no/minimum outsource, good processes, easy-going people. Work-life balance depends on the department/manager/VP. Management tries to have a company P&G style alike. Pay for your tuition, but conditions apply, have to work at least 9 months after the graduation date. Student oriented and lots of self-learning.

      Cons

Fast-paced. Long interview process. No kitchen, eat either at your desk or outside. Expect long hours and low pay.

      No one is Safe!

      Pros

Fair benefits, good investment in training programs; fair social committee activities

      Cons

Too many Directors - top heavy management, revolving door for employees - reflected at their Town Halls with minimal # of employees with 10, 20 & 25 years service as they have all been released. No employee store in fact employee sales are with dated products. No work-life balance as they do not walk the talk. Too many unhappy employees. HR not concerned for employee issues and very little support for advancing in the organization.

it has it's good and bad

      Pros

salary is ok, they have benefits, not strict of when you come in for work, summer hours, dress your day

      Cons

sucks life out of you, they dont care about work/life balance, not enough recognition on lower level employees, people being rewarded are the favourites, good intentions but bad execution, unstable and always restructuring. Some people are kept with higher pay but are inefficient and lazy. Preference more on new grads or with diploma or designation and kept the more experienced stuck doing admin work and the new younger hires ask the experienced "admin" what to do and get paid the higher salary...this is unfair.
