I worked at MEDNAX full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice location, beautiful office, decent training, good dental and vision plans, good PTO package

    Cons

Unrealistic productivity expectations, they prefer quantity over quality so accounts do not get worked accordingly or resolved. Their adjustment request policy and procedures are ridiculous, you basically have to put together a book to request an adjustment. Their points policy is a joke. If you have an emergency and have to leave, it counts against you. If you get a certain number of points in a certain time frame you can be fired, they don't take into consideration that things come up beyond your control. They only offer PPO medical plans with high deductibles, some people prefer HMO plans

    Advice to Management

Reconsider your productivity policy, if employees weren't so stressed about meeting their numbers, they might actually resolve accounts. Offer an HMO plan

    Pros

Good pay. Very nice HR dept.

    Cons

Management and team lead in certain department were verbally abusive, to the point of being considered a hostile workplace. Name calling, and mandatory overtime was common, but only to certain employees. Favouritism runs rampant in this office as well. Be very careful to observe who you work for and follow your instincts when it comes to feeling an unpleasant vibe, if you do, try for a different department. This company does have serious issues with workplace bullying that need to be addressed.

    Advice to Management

You know who the 2 main bullies are in the office, if they continue, eventually the new hostile workplace laws just enacted will be used against the company who failed to protect employees from the bullying.
