I worked at MD Financial Management full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Was a good company 20 years ago. Not anymore.

    Cons

Poor management Workers are left going nowhere unless you have been off work for 10 years in which case you get a management job. Worst managers I have ever had the chance to work for. Pathethic group. Good luck with Scotia Bank.....now there is some karma.

I worked at MD Financial Management full-time

    Pros

Relatively good benefits and relatively secure job. If you know the right people you don't need to work.

    Cons

POOR MANAGEMENT: Not helpful to employees. Don't know how to manage talent. Poor (or lack of) communication from management. Make horrible decisions. Promotion not based on merit : All about who you know and how you play politics. You have to do politics better than your actual job if you want to go anywhere. Very slow and old when it comes to business processes, operations and technology.

I have been working at MD Financial Management full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

It use to have a culture.

    Cons

Poor Management. Had a flaw in their corporate software and found out the software wasn't supported anymore. Couldn't find a CIO who knew how to fix the problem so they hired a outside company to come in and fix their problems. Basically turning the company into a mess and destroyed whatever culture was left. Most of the people at this time turned on one another and well you can image what it would be like to work for a place like that.
