I have been working at MANN+HUMMEL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is good. 401 k is 6% match.

    Cons

A lot of OT. They expect you to stay 4 hours over to cover absent employees daily. Scheduling is terrible. So many change overs that you can't be productive. No PM on equipment almost all have hydraulic leaks that cause severe slip hazards. Management concerned with meeting shipments at all costs. They have no stock it is all OTD. The lack supportive resources Maintenance and engineering. Holidays are worked in some for no planning. Over capacity.

    Advice to Management

Get a handle on scheduling. Take a drive this company is the only one on the road working 24/7, A big corporation across the street at least gives there employees one day off-Sunday.

    I worked at MANN+HUMMEL full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Clean environment and decent pay

    Cons

Experienced employees always complain that their salary is almost the same as temps from On Staff employment agency. Line leaders do not care about well being of employees and management all are concerned about production increase.
Hired employees treat blue shirt temps with no respect though they most likely started as temps themselves!

    Advice to Management

Take care of your valuable assets - both experienced and temp employees!

    Pros

It is a job. Pays a lil more than minimum wage. Has a nice breakroom. The bathrooms were clean and stocked.

    Cons

No teamwork between shifts. Second shift either gets sent home early or works 12 hours a day because first shift won't hit rate. First shift not required to work ot when production falls behind.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people. Just because you think you know everything doesn't mean that you do.
