    Pros

    I loved working for the city. Made a lot of friends and ate a lot of good food. Pay is great for a college student. My hours were always flexible. Great benefits. Got to travel throughout Los Angeles and really learn the lay of the land.

    Great benefits, opportunity to advance, opportunity to make a huge impact within the community. Helps develop character and allows you to appreciate the simple things.

    Cons

    Could be extremely difficult to deal with youth. Management often gets in the way when trying to do your job. When dealing with both youth and adults physical alterations can and will occur. Injuries occur often.
