    Pros

    Non stop overtime if you can stomach it.

    Cons

    Youth in custody are not given consequences. They can assault officer and get away with it, even though the courts are aware. An officer can lose his cool in a blink of an eye and lose everything.

    Unsafe, chaotic work environment. Constant demand for mandatory 16 hour/double shifts. Many times require past 16 hour shift without being given proper breaks.

    Salary - Education - Experience - Training - Promotion Company recruits staff from colleges. Staff training and certification is extensive.

    Stress - Working hours - Communication - Education - Community involvement needs improvement. Family and minors need more involvement. Working environment needs to be more open and expressive. Working conditions need improvement. Better program planning and organization. Need staff who understand the minor's needs and desires (education/ work training/ and advisement).
