    Pros

Free Snacks If you are lucky enough to get an office it means you do not have to show up to work unless Paris execs show up. Obvious HR stocked Glass Door Reviews

    Cons

Paris office makes the key decisions. They are on a different continent, have no understanding of the business or day to day operations. Will only listen to people who tell them what they want to hear which senior management is well aware of. Senior management are career politicians. All decisions based on their own individual agendas. Instead of fixing core problems, they spend more time trying to work around them and creating more problems. All the talent was allowed to walk out the door and replaced by offshore resources. Only a few productive individuals left are being worked into the ground. Boston office is a skeleton crew. They keep investing in offshore who will never get up to speed and be productive.

    Pros

    Great co-workers and great teams.

    Cons

Bad culture, poor communication, non-transparent decision making. Alarmingly, senior management does not know how to be a software company, confusing staff and customers. Below market compensation made worse by yearly targets outside of most employee's control. No matter how good your work, decreased bonus and pay result from poor sales, and upper management alienating customers.

    Advice to Management

Resign, even if you are too arrogant to understand.

    Pros

They try to teach those who call themselves PMs to actually be PMs.

    Cons

Some of the Senior management are not good at what they do, but believe they are better than anyone else.

    Advice to Management

Nurture instead of criticize your fledgling PMs. You will get better results. Be honest with your customers, instead of constantly in competition with them.

    Pros

    - Relationships with co-workers are very strong. - Benefits are very good, and the Human Resources staff is genuine, caring & willing to lend thoughtful assistance when needed. - Flexibility in working hours and location depending on your team and manager. - Genuine and good people that remain are always willing to help and lend a hand no matter what their title is or group they are working in.

    Cons

    - Antiquated technology stack with little qualified leadership to execute on changing it. - Local leadership is under qualified for the decisions they have been put in charge to make - Compensation changes are determined by a small group who's criteria is based on liking people and not necessarily impact and skill sets. - Lack of focus on what is important to the business & clients leads to short sighted initiatives that never get executed fully, on time or with the impact they should. Lot of running in place. - EBITDA is king and how effective the business is in getting to their final profit % is not factored in. Often fabricated by purchasing profitable companies near year end, and then consuming their good standing. - Opinions and creative ideas are met with opposition and those with them are labeled as malcontents and difficult to work with. Collaboration most notably at the Senior Management level is frowned upon, and rank and file attitudes are most desired. - Human Resources is the most in touch with the changes that need to bring the organization back but is paralyzed and ineffectual due to local & senior leadership stifling their ability to make effective and needed changes to organization and staff. - Strong co-worker relationships are forged by commiserating about long hours, poor product quality, poor leadership and organizational direction which often keeps staff there longer. Builds a base of mistrust and ultimately creates division.

    Advice to Management

Refocus on what is important to the clients, the business and then hyper-focus staff to executing on those things. Doing too many things at one time, with poor quality and execution, creates unstable, unwilling, and unhappy staff that leads to attrition of good people. Ensuring staff is focused and taken care of will allow many of the lofty business goals to be achieved as well as empower and inspire them to take good care of clients and create great products.

    Pros

Wonderful peers that wanted the company to be successful in spite of senior management's ineptness. For some, a chance to work at a global level and travel abroad. Casual office environment and flexibility to work remotely.

    Cons

Compensation is below market and do not look to get spikes with raises, promotions or bonuses. The senior management team in Paris is out of touch with products, people, industry -- rely heavily on McKinsey for guidance which is usually behind the eight ball. Constant changes in management structure with the same (ineffective) people always landing on their feet. It would seem that the constant change allows them to hide behind /blame the company's stunted growth on restructuring. A few selectively chosen are given the opportunity for advancement - everyone else is essentially stagnated and if lucky are given insulting raises/bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Let people do the jobs they were brought in to perform. Pay competitive salaries, invest in the products and infrastructure. Become a bit more humble.

    Pros

Great people on the ground, highly skilled, family friendly & energetic employees. Good products. Good atmosphere in most offices.

    Cons

Senior management in Paris out of touch and old style for a fintech company, insisting on everyone wearing a tie when the CEO tours the international offices.... No care whatsoever for employees, micromanaging every piece of the business, killing all the initiatives from the business lines.

    Advice to Management

    Delegate and trust.

Team is awesome, people are friendly when there is less strees. people help out as much as possible. The drive is there for people.

    Cons

senior management stinks. Promotions are handed to "best buddie" type people. If your in the inner clircle then your golden.

    Advice to Management

Look at some qualified people around the groups and i am sure you will find smart and leading people. Stop giving away senior posts to "best buddies" and start reconizing people who work for the company.
