A few excellent people in management and a few very bad ones

The pay is good as all case managers are required to have a bachelors degree. Some residences are very clean and well run. Better quality residences than most other companies. Lifeworks has higher educated staff. The house managers are required to have a high level of expertise in the field. If you have a good house manager and a good director you will be very happy at lifeworks. If you have a bad house manager or bad director you will be miserable at lifeworks.
Cons
Some of the people who work at lifeworks are cliquey and mean spirited and will try to run you out if you are not part of the clique. They try to turn the house manager against you if you are not a cliquester. Some staff are extremely lazy and neglect the consumers. These are usually the same staff who are arrogant and think they are better than you. Some staff treat the consumers more like pets than like human beings.
