    I have been working at LifeLabs full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Good wages Great benefits Decent schedules Free parking Lots of new technology Good opportunities to move up or around the departments Upper management has done a good job fixing the mistakes that happened previously. Supervisors are good and understanding and fix issues quick.

    Cons

    Little like a factory A lot of "this is how it's always been done" from co-workers Training can be better

    I worked at LifeLabs

    Pros

    If you work hard, there is opportunity to grow as person and be appreciated by your co-workers and partners. Bottom-line staff are very dedicated and contribute to quality healthcare in Ontario.

    Cons

    Company is in a difficult place. Purchasing CML may have been the downfall in Ontario. It appears as though the Ontario government is making LifeLabs pay for this transaction, by cutting funding.

    I worked at LifeLabs for more than 3 years

    Pros

    other health care companies over use casual employees

    Cons

    work like a dog. no visible appreciation, lack of focused goals for the company, poor implementation and planning of projects, not enough communication, poor training, not great pay considering the work (profits) you shovel through for the company, very poor benefits ($0.75/hr for all shift work) with other benefits being whittled away, sick-time? will only pay you 80% of your wage, senior leadership not respected or trusted by staff, unable to recruit and retain employees.
