I worked at Levi Strauss full-time for more than a year

    Pros

No pros honestly, there is nothing that can outweigh the bad.

    Cons

The company is filled with lies and deception, corruption is all over No work life balance Little to no pay increase ontop of already low wages You are required to be contactable 100% of the time, if you don't you will be told that you aren't faithful to the brand.

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Profits through principles is the guiding light. It trickles down through the organization. People are put first when the company makes decisions. Great health and wellness programs. Unrivaled 401k match. Employees are encouraged to be original and unique. Great work/life balance- which is extremely difficult to find in retail. Rarely have I had to work more than 45 hours to meet the basic expectations of my job. Any hours worked over 40 are generally by choice and to work on personal development or projects. Upper level management listens to needs of the stores.

    Cons

It can take a while to get things done. We often hear about a new piece of technology but don’t actually see it in stores until over a year later. Growth opportunities past Store Manager role are slim, though there are a few ways to elevate yourself in the store manager role. Relocating to San Francisco is not appeasing to many because of high real estate prices and cost of living.

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great team Good uniform allowance Good staff discount Good pay

    Cons

Upper management is an old boys' club The HR department is in shambles 'Theft of time' and misapplication of staff discount is treated more seriously than sexual harassment and casual racism Upper management loves talking about doing things instead of actually doing things Productivity and profit are valued more than worker well-being Staff offered low contracts but expected to have ample availability Work/life balance almost non-existent

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company truly leads with its values, something that is an absolute must for me. They also compensate well and there are nice job perks like a 50% discount, a competitive paid parental leave program, reasonable gym membership costs, etc. The people are dedicated to making this company successful and my team is especially great about working together on shared goals (versus everyone in it for themselves). They are also really amenable when it comes to work/life balance (I'm able to work remotely easily when need be).

    Cons

The health benefit options could be better (Aetna is not great) and there ought to be more growth opportunities.

I have been working at Levi Strauss full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Employees are treated very well. The culture of the company makes you feel like you're a part of a large family. Very understanding company and very big on work-life balance. Advocates for individuality and invites people from all walks of life.

    Cons

Can become redundant. Can experience poor communication from higher levels being communicated down into stores and throughout retail staffs.
