I have been working at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

LMC Manna Research is a top-tier research site network, and as such is an amazing place to learn clinical research for people newer in their careers. There is a great youthful culture, and you're surrounded by people that want to learn lots and work hard. Opportunities for internal growth are there if you're willing to put in the work.

    Cons

It's a fast paced environment, and not a good fit for people who want an easy laid-back job. There are ups and downs in workload with research in general, so you need to be flexible to accommodate that in order to succeed.

I worked at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Continuous coaching, great benefits after 3 months (dental, vision, pension plan contributions, etc), friendly coworkers, career growth opportunities, summer hours, and break room with abundant supply of snacks. Toronto headquarter staff provide support and are always available and helpful. Fast paced environment is great for keeping busy and learning new skills.

    Cons

Very understaffed. Toronto headquarters try to apply their administrative and organizational models in Montreal offices, which do not translate well (Health care systems are different and patient provincial medical records do not sync in the admin softwares the same way in both provinces...amongst other contextual and technological differences). While it's clear that Toronto headquarters wants to offer as much support as they can, it can come across as overbearing with an excess of lengthy conference calls and meetings that get in the way of catching up with daily tasks.

I worked at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - diverse working environment, pleasant colleagues

    Cons

    - essentially a totalitarian dictatorship (founder is a megalomaniac who should neither be a physician nor a businessman and drives his physician partners and staff out with his pushing of research enrolment targets and detached approach to anything not benefiting him directly) - benefit package is minimal, understaffed/undercompensated

I have been working at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Extra days off during the summer and you get a winter holiday break too

    Cons

    - Inadequate training. - Management provides little support. The work culture at LMC is to shift blame onto others and belittle employees. The chief medical director is the worst. - Turnover is high because employees are overworked. You are expected to do extra work in an already packed day with no added compensation. This usually means working through lunch or staying after work.

I worked at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The team is always supportive, extremely driven and hard-working (management included). Lots of fun activities planned for the team such as movies, drinks, team outings (that are actually a lot of fun), potlucks, employee appreciation days - 3 extra days off in the summer, off btw Christmas and New Years. Everyone working hard to achieve the same goal of making healthy easier to all the patients. I had a fantastic time working for this company, would recommend for anyone that wants to start a career in clinical research

    Cons

Salary is not the best when compared to the same position in a different company. Benefits were just as good as any other place

I have been working at LMC Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great place to work and grow your career if you are a driven person. I worked at LMC for over 3 years now in several positions, starting as a volunteer. If you are driven and willing to learn then this is the place for you. LMC will give you ample opportunities to take on additional roles and get more experience if you are enthusiastic and put in the extra work. The coworkers and company culture is amazing and many people will stay with the company just because of that. Some might complain about the workload but if you are good at managing you time then it shouldnt be an issue and that's also an opportunity to learn a lot in a short period of time. The company is also starting to implement programs to help you grow and take on leadership roles which is a huge plus. Managers and even the CEO has open door policy and you can talk to them freely at any time. The company provides education fund and employee appreciation days which you will end loving when you have 4 days off during summer long weekends.

    Cons

Pay might be on the lower side but compensated with great benefits and employee appreciation days
