I worked at LF Stores part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The girls I worked with. Getting to work with all the new styles

Management pressures you constantly to implement their aggressive sales approach. On everyone that works in the store. Noticeably makes some customers uncomfortable

I worked at LF Stores full-time

    Pros

I've met some amazing girls who I am still friends with to this day - the discount was great and there was potential to move around to different locations

    Cons

Wow oh wow. Where do I begin. I left LF years ago and still think about the disgusting treatment we were forced to put up with - from being told by my manager that I had to come into work with pneumonia unless I found a replacement to the CEOs disgusting way of bullying staff during his very rare visits to the store. For real - he visited, we (a group of 17-23 year olds girls) were told to skip class if we had it and had to sit in a circle at 7AM, stand up one by one in front of the room while he told us how shameful our outfits were ("I'll give you a D and that's being nice.") How does this lend itself to improvement when there is absolutely no constructive criticism to follow your negative comments? I've worked in ACTUAL fashion houses in Paris and New York since then and have never received even close to the same level of disrespect as I did working for this company. Disgusting and inexcusable.

    Pros

They offered an 80 percent discount

    Cons

Terrible owners, business goals, culture. Manager stole from shop all the time. Store was so dirty I would come home blow my nose and it would be black. Very unethical way of running a business.

I worked at LF Stores full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None. This place honestly created stress and negativity in my life.

    Cons

Where do I even start? This company is a complete joke. I will be surprised if they are still in business in a couple of months. They recently closed all of their stores because things weren't going well due to their old school ways and none of them know how to run a business. There's so much old inventory just sitting in that warehouse collecting dust. Now they expect to run their business on an online website that barely generates 1 or 2 sales a day. They literally spend each day stalking old clients trying to get them to shop online. Good luck walking around the office “working” while eating those expensive salads sisters. The office itself is a very toxic environment. I honestly have PTSD from working here and working there was not good for my heath. The superiors always make you feel like you aren’t doing enough and they expect you to work 7:45-5:30 pm minimum and if you leave at 5 pm they give you a look like ‘I can’t believe you are leaving at the time you are actually paid til!’ And don’t think you will ever hear a ‘thank you’ and ‘good job’ from any of them. Gratitude is never gifted at LF Stores. They love to make you think that they are trying to improve but let me tell you this RUN. DON’T WALK! RUN! It’s kind of sad because this company used to be a place known for great fashion trends and now all they do is take the previous season and change the colors. Groundbreaking right?! Lastly, something that needs to be called out about this company is their Scrooge-like ways! Yep! They want you to work Christmas Eve, all the days around it ALL the days around Black Friday and LOTS AND LOTS of unpaid weekends. Pretty much all of December is blackout. But don’t worry they will take all their Jewish holidays off no problem! If you are looking for a job to jump-start your career or a career change, don’t look here!
