I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A great place to work. The brands are world-class and well known. Working here, you’ll have or quickly develop a strong sense of ownership – people are expected to roll up their sleeves to deliver, navigating complex business challenges and finding/implementing creative solutions. There is a real culture of Meritocracy: you will be given opportunities to grow and be stretched outside your comfort zone. Lots of movement is possible including cross-functionally and upward mobility, and some international (though not as much as perhaps desired). The people here are smart, hard-working, passionate and incredibly motivated. Kraft Heinz has implemented a new policy of flexibility, including the ability to work from home more and also manage your own schedule. In most roles, you will get significant exposure to senior executives – a benefit of a lean culture and flat hierarchy – it’s on you to seize those opportunities for professional development. You work hard, but will be rewarded appropriately. The culture is not for everyone, but opportunities are there for those willing to own their roles and over-deliver against targets/expectations.

    Cons

Uncompetitive vacation policies versus industry and market averages. Location – office would be more appealing to more new hires if it were downtown Greater clarity in communication around MBO’s, and MBO management in-year and with role changes

I worked at Kraft Heinz Company full-time

    Pros

Enjoyed the openness towards change. There is a culture to put all good ideas to work. Fit for tech-savvy young professionals seeking recognition from a large corporation. High turnover in Finance means good opportunity to progress.

    Cons

Abnormally high turnover. Imbalanced workload. Absurdly bad data quality on the costing side drives long hours and lack of quality. Without generalizing, it's a fact that people related to 3G capital investors/families were disproportionately represented in senior ranks when I was there, forming a tightly knit community and a type of perverse glass ceiling for the rest. Couldn't help but reflect on this company touting meritocracy as a core value.

"Focused on cost cutting - does not value employees"

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There aren’t any pros, unless you prefer to build 100 page PowerPoint talking about how you performed poorly on a monthly basis or insane hours + weekends

    Cons

Company is focused on cost cutting and follows the 3G playbook fully. Does not value its employees, they are treated like an expense line in the P&L and eventually you will be cut and out the door since they can find someone younger and cheaper. KHC is a circus and you have to firefight daily. Young, incompetent, inexperienced individuals at all levels of the organization (due to cost cuts). Senior leadership is there due to a relation to the 3G family and they are immune to poor performance.

I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time

    Pros

-upward mobility if you network and play the game

    Cons

    - many decisions focused on margin and not based on consumer insight, leading to many failed innovations and uncompetitive pricing - reorganize functions every year hoping for improved results in the absence of effective strategies. This only leads to more knowledge gaps and dysfunction. - bonus payout very unreliable - large increase in workload with no recognition or salary increase. Do not feel valued at all as an employee. -lack of training for people in new roles; sometimes the managers have no idea how to do the work either

I have been working at Kraft Heinz Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Aggressive bonus scheme and upward mobility

    Cons

The company is run by people who neither understand nor want to understand the business. Management is lost and leaders have little to no empathy or leadership skills. The finance function in general is disorganized and fraught with adverse objectives. HR acts with a complete lack of ethics or morality and needs a complete revamp. If you're a new hire I recommend getting your promotion and moving on.
