RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Keg Restaurants full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
The Keg focuses on their people, they spend time and money training their people and are invested in continually providing education to their people. Having a value of putting people first creates a very specials and positive culture. I had the opportunity to work in many Keg restaurants over the years and each was a safe and happy work environment, if this is something that you value I would highly recommended starting a career at the Keg.
Cons
It was very hard to leave the Keg and I miss it everyday.
Pros
friendly staff, professional service and training
Cons
sometimes the pressure can be stressful. All you can do is your best.

Pros
You meet your lifelong friends there who truthfully turn into family. You get to know everyone from dishwashers to upper management. Everyone takes the time to get to know everyone! Management doesn’t micro manage your every move as I’ve experienced working at other restaurants. They trust in their training and in you, which makes for a smoother working restaurant and more enjoyable place to work. The training is amazing you feel fully prepared for any question a guest might ask which also allows the guest to feel more at ease knowing they’re being well taken care of. The quality of food is amazing so it’s easy to stand by what your selling and the guests feel confident knowing the service and food is consistent. They know what they’re getting and it keeps them coming back.
Cons
You never want to leave. I’ve tried. It’s hard. Your family is there and you will never find another environment like it. Sometimes (not often but sometimes) guests can be really mean and manipulative and deceitful but that comes with any customer service job there will always be people trying to get your product for free at any cost which is sad but it builds patience, good character and thick skin.
